Walkurey Series
Walkürey
Walkurey was developed with the premise of use in recording and live performance settings.
We aimed for an instrument that is rational, easy to play, and easy to adjust like a modern instrument, while being versatile and having a sound that anyone would recognize as good upon first listen.
This does not mean it lacks character because it is convenient and easy to handle.
It means designing a "distinctive sound" considered favorable in the history of electric guitars while remaining modern.
Some vintage guitars lack mechanisms for octave tuning, and they have very interesting characteristics in their own way.
However, they also have drawbacks such as pitch going out of tune when playing in higher positions.
Especially in recording situations, there are many cases where you have to punch in while dealing with these drawbacks or use only low chords.
However, guitars with such peaky characteristics often shine when there is a highly stable guitar on site.
Walkurey brings outstanding stability with just one guitar on site, and can also highlight guitar selection and vintage character.
Additionally, it is equipped with EVERTONE PICKUP, which has already gained widespread recognition.
The luxuriously equipped HH and HSH pickups are coil-tappable, and proprietary technology is used so that even when switched to single coil, the sound is comparable to standalone single coil pickups.
While you can easily imagine from the specs that it can produce a very versatile range of sounds, Walkurey is not just an all-around guitar.
The envelope curve design through accurate transient output by EVERTONE PICKUP not only enables musical expression that previous pickups could not achieve, but also allows you to break free from pedal effects and amp behaviors like "any more distortion and I'll need to roll off the tone or it'll be harsh," "any more distortion and I'll lose the attack," or "I need a bit more distortion to get that sustain."
Feel free to create your sound intuitively.
The crowning feature is the NEWTONE SWITCH.
You can control the shape of the transient, which is strongly influenced by wood and guitar body components.
This switch also greatly affects playability and feel, enabling direct access to transients that conventional circuits cannot achieve - whether you're touching Walkurey for the first time on site, need critical clean cutting techniques, or need arpeggios with soft attack.
NEWTONE SWITCH (Envelope Correction Circuit)
MILD (Switch position up)
The attack rise from picking to peak, decay from peak to sustain, and release curve until the sound disappears when muting strings become gradual.
Suitable when you want a soft touch or want to fill gaps between notes.
FAST & Clear (Switch position center)
The attack rise from picking to peak, decay from peak to sustain, and release curve until the sound disappears when muting strings become steep.
Suitable for good separation in cutting or fast phrases and expressing rests through quick response and quick decay.
Has a very clear sound.
FAST & BITE (Switch position down)
The attack rise from picking to peak, decay from peak to sustain, and release curve until the sound disappears when muting strings become steep.
Suitable for good separation in cutting or fast phrases and expressing rests through quick response and quick decay.
Generates ultra-high frequencies and has a gritty, biting feel around the peak.
Walkurey is a guitar born from a Columbus egg created by the wishes of recording and live performance sites.
Walkurey is a name inspired by the Norse goddess Walküre.
I believe that the goddess who determines who lives and who dies on the battlefield brings victory to any battlefield.
The two swords engraved on the neck joint plate represent the dual-wielding of single coil and humbucker, showing an impact that divides the new world from the past world, and here we pray for the glory of the wonderful evolved instrument called the electric guitar.
In electric guitars, vintage guitars have long increased in value, and a world seeking ideals by going back in history had spread.
Within this, Walkurey from EVERTONE PROJECT has appeared in electric guitar history as a completely new guitar while maintaining the spirit of learning from the past.
To repeat, Walkurey is equipped with innovative sound design and control mechanisms that overturn conventions to the point of clearly dividing "the world until now" and "the world from now on."
Japan has a beautiful phrase "Onkochishin" (learning from the past), but EVERTONE PROJECT proposes a new world with "Onkozanshin" (innovation while cherishing the past) - creating something entirely new while valuing the past.
